- FROM 1967 TO PRESENT -
Pino Rabolini founded Pomellato in 1967 and was the first to promote the philosophy of prêt-à-porter jewelry. The Company quickly developed, gaining a reputation as a “product trend-setter” in a sector that was traditional and stagnant.
At the close of the nineties, the Founder of Pomellato decided to turn the management of the company over to external managers, while still a majority shareholder and maintaining his position as Deputy-Chairman on the Board of Directors.
In 2009, a turning-point was reached with the setting up of Ra.Mo. SpA, an Industrial Holding now controlling Pomellato. The majority interest of Ra.Mo. is held by the Rabolini Family, and the minority interest by Andrea Morante, the new CEO of Pomellato. From a craftsman’s workshop employing fifteen people over 40 years ago, to an international company with over 400 employees today- 100 of which are goldsmiths- the growth of Pomellato confirms an astute intuition of the jewelry market and the continued integrity of the product it manufactures.
Over the years Pomellato has strengthened partnerships with the existing network of jewelry dealers but, above all, it has implemented an intensive program to open its own free-standing stores.
